Problems
Previously, we designed a fresh, new look for CocoWorld's Gula Melaka (Cube). This time, our client wanted to design a new packaging label for Gula Melaka Granules, a product under the same product series.
PROJECT
Background
Gula Melaka is a traditional confectionary made from the sap of coconut trees. It is slightly sweet, and adds a floral scent to your dishes. Gula Melaka in its granules form is used primarily in desserts, beverages and delicacies.

1. Study
Prior to drafting, we formed an agreement with our client that the product packaging label design should follow the same design style as Gula Melaka (Cube) since both products are sold under the same product series.

Following the agreed upon brief, we presented to our client many different colour combinations. After careful considerations, our client chose the brown and gold colour combination.
