Looking to expand into a new market segment, MagicBites needed a new look for their most popular Signature & Sarawak Specials Gourmet Popcorn.

Background
Our all-time childhood favourite (Hey, Malaysians!), MagicBites also sells Gourmet Popcorn with special flavours such as Gula Apong, Sarawak Laksa and Teh C Special, aside from their most popular flavours - Goldrich Caramel, Cocoa Mas and Double Cheese. The client is looking for a new look that emphasizes their unique selling points and caters to the upper-middle class consumers.

1. Study
Prior to drafting our first designs, we interviewed our client to find our their needs, expectations and product market segments they want to sell to.

2. Propose
After that, we created a moodboard to find inspirations for our design. We were very lucky that our first draft was happily embraced by our client. So we quickly proceeded with the rest of the designs

3. Ideation & Prototype
Following the agreed upon design style, we created realistic vectors of the drippings and carefully mask out the popcorns and its flavours for the design. We also studied the Food & Safety Regulations to ensure that the artwork adheres to national standards.
