STATEMENT OF
Problems
Looking to export their products to international markets, CocoWorld needs a more attractive and fresh packaging redesign for their star product - Gula Melaka.
PROJECT
Background
Gula Melaka is a traditional confectionary made from the sap of coconut trees. It is slightly sweet, and adds a floral scent to your dishes. Gula Melaka is used primarily in Nyonya desserts and delicacies - most famously, Cendol.

We conducted a market research of brands that sells Gula Melaka in Malaysia and its neighbouring countries. With the study in our hands, we narrowed down to 2 design styles: Countryside and Minimal
